QR tags that respect privacy
What a stranger sees is up to you.
Every asset carries a short, unguessable code. When it is scanned, the public page shows only what you have allowed for that item. Serial numbers, values, and account numbers can never be made public.
- Private — “Registered item. Sign in to view.”
- Partial — only the fields you tick, e.g. name and “if found, contact”.
- Public — descriptive fields, photo, and location if you choose.
